Dear Roker Report,
I’ve been following Sunderland since the 1950s, and this is the first time in my knowledge that the entire management team had so much experience in football club management.
Take a look at Kyril Louis-Dreyfus and Juan Sartori’s backgrounds, especially the former’s family history.
Regarding Régis Le Bris (as one of the media pundits cynically pointed out), he was the only club manager with a degree in sports psychology, and it’s clearly paying off in terms of bringing together a varied group of new players.
My major fear is the loss of players during the African Cup of Nations, which coincides with our Christmas schedule. “Come on” to the rest of the squad; fill in the holes and demonstrate the breadth of ability we possess.
